Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in Bengaluru for an experienced clinician with 5+ years of practice. The Dentist will independently diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, perform routine and complex procedures, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as X-rays), and performing restorative, preventive, endodontic, and minor surgical procedures as appropriate to the dentist’s training. The role involves clearly explaining findings and treatment options, providing pre- and post-procedure guidance, and maintaining accurate and complete clinical records. The Dentist will collaborate with the wider clinical team to ensure high standards of infection control, patient safety, and continuity of care, while contributing to a positive and professional clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Valid BDS degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in general dentistry, with proven competency in restorative, endodontic, and preventive procedures.
- Current registration and good standing with the relevant dental council or licensing authority.
- Strong diagnostic skills, including proficiency in interpreting dental radiographs and other diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to aseptic techniques, infection control protocols, and overall patient safety.
- Excellent chairside manner, with the ability to build trust, comfort anxious patients, and communicate treatment plans in clear, simple language.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage a steady patient load while maintaining quality of care.
- Willingness to stay current with advances in dentistry through continuing education, workshops, and professional development.
- Experience with digital dental records and familiarity with modern dental technologies and materials is an advantage.
